Gender and Macro-economics Training-Provincial Level
National Planning Commission, UN Women, ILO and IIDS successfully coducted a training program on ‘Gender and Economics’ in Janakpur Sub-metropolitan City, Dhanusha from the 17-19 May, 2023 (3-5 Jestha).
The training program included participants from four different provinces in Nepal – Koshi Pradesh (Province 1), Madhesh Pradesh (Province 2), Bagmati Pradesh (Province 3) and Gandaki Pradesh (Province 4).
The training program in Janakpur was the first among the two training program at the provincial level. The second training program at the provincial level will be hosted in Nepalgunj from 24-26 May (Jestha 10-12) for participants from the remaining three provinces - Lumbini Pradesh (Province 5), Karnali Pradesh (Province 6) and Sudurpaschim (Province 7).
A federal level training program on ‘Gender and Economics’ was organized in the first week of May in Dhulikhel.
