Ms. Singh holds a M.A. degree in Social Work (Women Centred Practice) from Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai, and a degree of B.A. (Honors) in Social Work from Jamia Millia Islamia-A Central University, New Delhi. She has worked in the field of social development in various agencies in India, as a core part of her academic curriculum. Ms Singh has served as intern at United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific, South and South-West Asia (UN-ESCAP SS-WA) in New Delhi, as Economic Affair Intern and undertook applied research project Review of Access to Energy and its Impacts on socio-Economic Status of Women in South Asia. Currently, she is working as Social Affair Officer in Institute of Integrated Development Studies, Kathmandu, Nepal. She joined IIDS in 2018.
