Vibhav Pradhan has over six years of academic and programmatic experience in labour migration governance, federalism, diaspora studies, and digital development in Nepal. A Chevening Scholar, he holds an MSc in International Social and Public Policy from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), an MA in International Relations from South Asian University (SAU), and a BBA in Management from Assumption University, Bangkok.

He has co-authored five peer-reviewed publications, including journal studies on labour migration, remittances, and governance during COVID-19, and Nepal’s bureaucracy governance. At IIDS, he has co-authored IIDS publications, 'Absentee Worker Population in the Federal Elections', 'Nepali Diaspora in the US', and 'Women Representation in Nepal’s Bureaucracy'. He also has research and program management and coordination roles in IIDS' consulting projects, including 'Global Nepali Network for Digital Development' and 'Migration in South Asia’ projects with The World Bank, 'Diaspora Study of Nepali in the US' study with The Asia Foundation, among others. He has previously worked in implementing UNICEF's 'Child Labour Elimination Programme' and on FCDO's 'Accelerating Investment in Infrastructure in Nepal (AiiN)' programme on promoting Public Private Partnerships, Special Economic Zone and Easing Business Registration Processes. With expertise in research, project design, and stakeholder engagement, he strives to advance inclusive and sustainable policies for Nepal's future, and is passionate about governance reforms and socio-economic development.
