Swornima graduated with an MA in International Political Economy and Development from Fordham University in New York. She is passionate about the intersection of socioeconomic development and climate change. Previously, she was a Program Assistant at UNDP, supporting indigenous peoples and local communities in scaling and replicating their nature-based solutions. She also worked as a research analyst at a consulting firm in Nepal, where she was involved in various projects to devise an economic transformation framework in Nepal. Swornima's career interests lie in development economics, and she wants to advocate for communities impacted by climate change.
