As part of its flagship नीति दौडाहा initiative, IIDS hosted Mr. Siddhartha SJB Rana and his team for a dialogue on Nepal’s economic future and the role of the private sector.
The discussion explored falling aggregate demand, subdued private investment, and the role of public investment as a catalyst for crowding in private investment and revitalizing economic activity.
Drawing on IIDS’ White Paper 2026 and Development Strategy for Vision 2100, the conversation focused on pathways to strengthen productivity, competitiveness and economic transformation in Nepal.
