IIDS Apprenticeship Fair 2026

The Institute for Integrated Development Studies (IIDS) invites applications for the IIDS Apprenticeship Fair 2026. As part of the IIDS Apprenticeship Program, this six-month apprenticeship provides recent bachelor’s graduates and above with an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in development research, public policy, institutional operations, and professional practice. Through close mentorship and practical engagement, apprentices work alongside experienced researchers and professionals while contributing to evidence-based research, policy dialogue, and knowledge generation.

Applications are invited for 12 Junior Research Assistant/Analyst positions across the following centers and thematic areas:

  • Center for Economic Policy – 4 Positions (Economics & Agriculture)
  • Center for Human Assets – 3 Positions (Education Content & Pedagogy, Data Analysis & Quantitative Research, Teachers Study & AI Education Policy)
  • Digital Transformation, Hub of Excellence – 2 Positions
  • Strategic Affairs, Hub of Excellence – 2 Positions
  • Graphic Designer – 1 Position

Apprenticeship Details

Duration: 6 months

Working Days: Monday to Friday

Working Hours: 11:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Location: IIDS Office, Mandikhatar, Kathmandu

Monthly Stipend:

  • Junior Research Assistant (Bachelor’s completed): NPR 15,000 per month
  • Junior Research Analyst (Master’s completed): NPR 18,000 per month

The designation (Junior Research Assistant or Junior Research Analyst) will be determined based on the applicant’s highest completed academic qualification.
