Framing Nepal’s Economic Diplomacy

The Institute for Integrated Development Studies (IIDS) successfully organized a special policy roundtable titled “Framing Nepal’s Economic Diplomacy” on May 2, 2025, at its premises in Mandikhatar. The event, part of a broader initiative commissioned by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA), brought together key policymakers, experts, and stakeholders for an engaging discussion on strengthening Nepal’s international economic engagement. With insightful presentations by Dr. Biswash Gauchan, Executive Director of IIDS, and Mr. Akhilesh Upadhyay, Policy Lead for Strategic Affairs, the roundtable facilitated a robust exchange of ideas and recommendations on strategic economic diplomacy. The program concluded with a productive networking session and lunch, marking a successful step forward in shaping Nepal’s economic diplomacy agenda.
