On National Library Day (31st August 2022), IIDS in collaboration with Tribhuvan University’s Department of Gender Studies jointly launched the Library for Intersectional Studies at the IIDS Campus, Mandikhatar. The Library is dedicated to Dr. Meena Acharya in honour of her outstanding public service at IIDS as Executive Director, pioneering scholarship and distinguished leadership as a leading feminist-economist of Nepal.
The Department of Gender Studies and IIDS also signed an MoU for the collaboration.
