Technical Meeting on Identification of Policy Gaps on Food System Transformation

The technical workshop was a follow up to the workshop on ‘Policy Priorities for Evidence-based Agricultural Policies in Nepal’ which was conducted by Institute for Integrated Development Studies (IIDS) with support from the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock Development (MoALD) and USAID funded Feed the Future Innovation Lab for Food Security Policy Research, Capacity, and Influence (PRCI) in June 2021. The workshop brought together various stakeholders (led by MoALD) to define Nepal’s agriculture policy and research priorities for the future. Some key thematic focus areas emerged from the workshop discussion. The aim of the follow-up technical workshop is to bring together Nepali policy practitioners and researchers to further refine priorities and address knowledge gaps identified in the key thematic areas. This workshop will invite stakeholders who participated in the policy priority workshop as well as other expert researchers and practitioners from the field.
