Independent Assessment of Matching Grant Scheme (MGS)

Implemented through six calls between 2009 and 2018, the PACT Competitive Matching Grant Scheme (CMGS) provided grants to farmer groups, producer associations, cooperatives and private firms for sub-projects geared towards achieving improved commercialization of specific agricultural value chains. This study assesses the efficiency and effectiveness of the processes involved in grantee selection, grant disbursement, sub-project implementation and Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E).
