This report is a collaborative effort between the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Supplies (MoICS), the Investment Support Facility (ISF) of the EU-Nepal Trade and Investment Programme (TIP), and the Institute for Integrated Development Studies (IIDS).
The objective of this survey is to gain insights into the factors influencing investment decisions, the challenges and opportunities in the investment environment, and the strategies that could be employed to improve the investment climate in Nepal. The specific objectives of this study are as follows: (i) identifying the factors that influence investor’s decision to invest in Nepal, (ii) assessing investor’s level of satisfaction with the investment environment in Nepal, (iii) understanding investor’s perception of the risks and challenges associated with investing in Nepal, (iv) Identifying strategies to improve the investment environment in Nepal.
