‘Niti Daudaha 2082’, organized by IIDS in collaboration with the Provincial Policy and Planning Commission, Gandaki Province on June 2, 2025, featured insightful discussions and active participation from a wide range of stakeholders—including Honourable Provincial Assembly Members, representatives from local governments, academia, the private sector, civil service, financial sector, regulatory bodies, and other distinguished dignitaries.
The event was graced by Honourable Dr. Tak Raj Gurung, Minister for Economic Affairs of Gandaki Province, as Chief Guest, and was chaired by Honourable Dr. Krishna Chandra Devkota, Vice Chairperson of the Provincial Policy and Planning Commission.
Dr. Biswash Gauchan, Executive Director of IIDS, delivered a keynote presentation offering a fact-based economic analysis of Nepal and Gandaki Province. His address emphasized key challenges and proposed pathways for Structural Reform 2.0, aimed at realizing the long-term development vision of Vision 2100.
