The Institute for Integrated Development Studies (IIDS), in collaboration with the Provincial Policy and Planning Commission, Sudurpaschim, officially launched ‘IIDS Policy Marathon 2082’ in Dhangadhi.
The event opened with a compelling presentation on the key dimensions of structural reform and long-term vision by Dr. Biswash Gauchan, Executive Director of IIDS, followed by a dynamic panel discussion on structural reform, economic growth, and employment.
It brought together the Honorable Chief Minister, provincial ministers, provincial assembly members, provincial secretaries, municipal and rural municipal chairpersons and deputy chairpersons, private sector, members of political parties, civil societies, academia, financial sector, members of the media, and other local personalities and — fostering rich dialogue grounded in evidence and local realities.
This launch marks the beginning of a nationwide policy journey to align local voices with national transformation.
