Policy Marathon 2082: A Nationwide Dialogue for Structural Reform and Nepal Vision 2100
As a continuation of the IIDS Policy Conclaves rooted in Structural Reform 2.0 and Nepal Vision 2100, IIDS is launching the Policy Marathon 2082—a nationwide initiative that will travel across all seven provinces
The primary objective of this policy journey is to identify actionable solutions to Nepal’s current economic challenges, explore long-term structural reform strategies, and uncover emerging areas of opportunity. Grounded in data, evidence, and dialogue, the marathon seeks to offer foresights to sub-national governments to craft realistic policies, periodic plans, and evidence-based budgets. At the same time, it aims to inspire the private sector to invest in productive sectors that generate domestic employment and drive inclusive growth.
Through inclusive engagement and local partnerships, Policy Marathon 2082 will serve as a platform to co-create a shared vision for Nepal’s future—bridging national aspirations with local realities.
